Glass Recycling

Many companies are currently running a glass recycling scheme for their workforce, and this has been widely accepted as a great idea, as it means that when things such as glass bottles are used in the workplace, they are not wasted.

If you are thinking about setting up such a scheme in your place of work, there are a couple of things that you should do.

  • Make sure that everybody knows about the scheme. To do this, you might think about putting up posters or sending an email to everybody on the system, telling them what you are doing, and how they could be involved if they want to.
  • Give some kind of incentive for taking part. This could be a small cash reward every time they bring something to recycle, or other benefits such as five minutes’ extra break, or finishing a little before the end of the day.

No matter how you choose to put your glass recycling scheme into action, there is no doubt that it is a great idea. For help and advice about disposing of the glass that you have collected, give us a call today.
