Plasterboard Recycling

If you find that you have an amount of plasterboard on your hands that you no longer need, then you might be thinking about plasterboard recycling as a way of getting rid of it. The way in which you do this will depend on the scale of your needs.

If you are a business:

If you only have a small amount, then you might find that a local recycling centre will take it off your hands. You should always research this in advance, as it can be frustrating to arrive with a lot of material only to be turned away.

If you are undertaking a larger construction project:

If you have a large project on your hands, then you will need to have a waste management plan in place, and plasterboard recycling will come under this heading. You will need to hire somebody to get rid of the waste for you – but it is vital that you double check that they are a licensed waste carrier, or you run the risk of getting into trouble.

If you need help, advice or equipment relating to plasterboard recycling, then please get in touch with us today. We can work with you in a number of ways to ensure that all of your waste is dealt with in the way that it needs to be.
